As a Luxury Travel Designer, I seldom make bookings with not Virtuoso member suppliers. Andrea of Amalfi Tour Leader has provided services that have exceeded my expectations. Two weeks before my clients’ arrival in Italy, Andrea was always there to answer all my needed queries. First, my clients will arrive in Naples, Italy, at midnight, and other than the airport pick-up transfer that I needed, I also needed a private boat transfer from Naples to Capri and a land transfer from Capri port to the hotel. Andrea has provided everything on time w/o any glitches. He also offered a transfer from the hotel to the Capri Helipad for my clients' Helicopter transfer to Amalfi Coast. Andrea also provided a transfer from Scala Helipad to Hotel Santa Catarina. He offered a luxurious private day tour for my clients in Amalfi, Sorrento, and Positano on a Mercedes Benz S-Class. My client texted me and informed me how happy they were with all the services Andrea provided. Andrea was always there, monitoring each service he provided my clients from departure to arrival. Everything was just executed flawlessly. I cannot imagine providing my future clients with travel services in Amalfi and Capri without Andrea of Amalfi Tour Leader. Definitely, he is a customer-oriented travel service provider.

Wow - we’ve been coming to Amalfi for the last 25 years (since we were in our 20s) and I have to say this wine tour was the absolute highlight of all our visits (and be clear, it’s so much more than a wine tour). Tour organiser Andrea was really helpful, even though we booked really late. Our driver, Fabian, was friendly, accommodating and very safe (something to be welcomed on the roads of the Amalfi coast!), turning up on time an air conditioned Mercedes mini van (again, very welcome!). Our first stop was to Ravello, which is close to Amalfi, but would otherwise cost a lot to go to by taxi (or take a long time by non-air conditioned bus). It’s a lovely town, up high in the mountains, and the 1hr 20m we had there was plenty of time to peruse the local shops, have an ice cream, coffee and visit the Duomo. Then Fabian drove us to the wine tasting. Honestly, this was the most amazing sensory experience we’ve ever had. Gerardo was our brilliant host, managing to make the experience work for all ages (16, 18, 19, and two 40-somethings) and make everyone feel special. We went for the wine experience, but the whole thing was amazing. Set in the family home (also the business) of Gerardo, it started with a brief tour of the vineyard itself. Then onto the food - which was unreal. Eight courses! Yes, EIGHT! All served in a very slow, measured way that made you savour very mouthful (Gerardo demanded this .. he’s like a zen wine Jedi). Here’s a run down of what we ate (which catered for two vegetarians) … grilled vegetable plate, omelette, caprese salad sticks, burrata (this was the best I’ve ever tasted in my life … I mean it was all incredible, but this … wow!), local ham on garlic bread, fresh tomato and basil pasta, cheese board, lemon tiramisu. Wow! And copious amounts of fresh bread. All served in the intimate surroundings of a private cool (yay!) room where you eat in the shadow of the towering wine vats. It was amazing - and we all absolutely loved it. The wine didn’t stop flowing (oh yeah - the wine was great too!) and we enjoyed a good sleep on the way home in Fabian’s air conditioned merc. Thank you Gerardo and team … you delivered the most amazing afternoon lunch and wine tasting in truly beautiful surroundings. And thank you Andrea and Fabian for your jolly manner and brilliant communication. 10/10 without hesitation. I recommend this trip very very highly. A great day out.

Ottima scelta, Andrea è disponibile puntuale simpatico un cicerone perfetto, ci ha accompagnati per 3 giorni nella meravigliosa costiera Amalfitana, è venuto a prenderci all’aeroporto e da subito abbiamo iniziato il tour.. ottime anche le guide che ci ha affidato! Grazie Andrea Cinzia e famiglia!

Andrea is truly a phenomenal individual, he is professional, trustworthy, kind and accommodating. His vehicle is excellent and it’s the smoothest transfer we’ve had. We used his services to get from Rome to the Amalfi Coast, he gave us insight to the small towns and not to forget his playlists are amazing 😀 a smooth and swift drive he makes the journey such a pleasure. Andrea is very reliable trustworthy gentleman. Responds promptly. Honorable. Doesn’t go back on his word. We had organized 3 private rides with him. Everything was so smooth. In fact he sent his mom for our last ride. Amazing. Very highly recommended
